CATIA V5 to Parasolid translation fails with R22

Hi,

 

I have upgraded to interop R22 from R20 and seem to have a problem with translating CATIA V5 documents to parasolid. It fails with a message:

 

Warning : SPAXCATIAV5Base library not loaded.

 

I am using Visual C++ 2005 (Version 8.0.50727.42)

 

In the Release Notes for R22, it is mentioned that:

 

Support for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 has been upgraded to Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (SP1).

 

Could the problem be because of that?

 

Has anyone else encountered this problem or knows what the solution is?

Hello as,

 

Did you install the VC runtimes included in the redist folder? Please note V5 lib are built with VS 2008 so you need to at least install these runtimes for the translation to work.
