Some of the InterOp translation options indicate that they are not available for the ACIS or Parasolid product lines. My question is what are the ACIS and Parasolid product lines? Thank you. Regards, Raymond

Hi Raymond,

The 3D InterOp Parasolid suite of translators was built for Parasolid-based applications to import & export data.  It uses the application's Parasolid kernel for import post-processing functions.

The 3D InterOp ACIS suite of translators is for ACIS-based apps, or apps using any other modeler.  ACIS is used for modeling services in import post-processing. 

You will see that some options only apply to one or the other because the internal representations and behaviors are different between the modelers.
