Hi,

What is the best way to get data from ICEM Surf to ACIS ?

One of our customer export his ICEM Surf data to CATIA V4 (.model) files which can be imported by ACIS InterOp.

Is there a better way ?

Hello Jul,

I am afraid that you will have to use some sort of translators and you have the following options.

1) Use InterOp via one of the supported input formats- which your customer is already doing.

2) Write your own InterOp - Parse the ICEM Surf data and use ACIS apis to recreate the data.

Please weight the cost and the benefit of each route to determine what you want do.
