Hi,
Can anybody explain or better yet give a CAD file that can demonstrate the option "AddMultBodiesInSamePart" in UG? At first I thought that when I create a part that contains two solid bodies in NX and then use InterOp translator to convert it to ACIS, the two solid bodies will just be under one "BODYentity", but that was not the result that I got. Thank you.
Regards,
Raymond

raymond,
i think this option really only applies if you are reading a ug assembly. i am pretty sure i have used this to create a seperate part for each body instead of a multibody part. if i find the data i was working with, i'll send it to you...

raymond,
there are typically multiple parts in an assembly representing individual bodies. some ug parts actually contain multiple bodies so this option controls how multibody parts are handled. if this option is true, a single part will be created with multiple bodies. if this option is false, a seperate part will be created for each body. each of these parts will be instanced into the assembly...

the multibody parts will be accessible just like the other parts in the assembly. i guess since you are not processing assemblies, its not really an issue for you so i wouldn't worry about it for now...
