acis to v5 units always mm

no matter what units are in an acis file the resulting v5 part is always mm.  is there any way to make the units of the resulting v5 part match the units in the acis file....

Hello Ed,

 

This is a documented limitation. Pls see http://doc.spatial.com/index.php/InterOp:Connect/Using_Units#Supported_Units. Here we state the following

 

Note that for some systems, the destination unit values are fixed. These are:

CATIA V5 millimeter
VDA millimeter
IGES any except decimeter and nanometer
