I want to add an isolated vertex in the middle of a face of a body. I notice from the vertex documentation that isolated vertices can be represented by null edges, where the start and end of the edge is the same vertex and I found various references to isolated vertices and how to detect them. However, I have not found how to create one. Any hints would be appreciated.
(The reason for wanting to do this is so that when the solid is later meshed we can place a node at a specific point for applying a boundary condition)
Thanks
