Dear All,
In ACIS the cylindrical face includes pin and hole. Do we have any api or attribuate which can be used to tell hole and pin.
In addition, how can i extract the radius and height of the pin or hole.
Thank you very much.
Mike

look at Cone. From there:
- If cosine_angle is positive (+), the sense of the surface is away from the axis of the cone (surface is convex).
- If cosine_angle is negative (-), the sense of the surface is toward the axis of the cone (surface is concave).

Hi Vi2,
Thanks for reply. Another question, how do i know the radius and height of the cone.
Thank you.

I think that these characteristics are calculated. If the cone is a cylinder then one has also a radius. The height of the cone can be calculated from U range of cone. Maybe, there are the functions for that calculations, but I don't know them.
