As a result of api_offset_faces(), sometimes the error code SIGSEGV_FAULT is returned. Perhaps the model's geometry is not perfect. My question is: what's the meaning of the code and how bad it is? Does it prevent from doing any operations on the model? After offset fails, I could go to a backup workflow but I'm not sure if it is safe enough with a model which can produce an error code like that.
