Dear all,
I'm using R18-SP3, HOOPS 16.2 & Visual Studio 2005
I need to draw a model using solid edge, I saved it as SAT file.
when I'm trying to open it with scheme ACIS I recevied an error msg --> "Error part:load: save file is from a later version of Acis"
Does anyone know how to solve this problem ??
Cheers,
MO

Hello Shaib,
Yes this means that Solid Edge is creating a SAT file using version R19 or higher. If you open the sat file in a text edition the first 4 digits will indicate the version of SAT file saved out of Solid Edge. Please check. Also please note R18 is no longer a supported version. Please upgrade to R21 SP3 - which is now the latest version provided by Spatial.
Regards,
Yogesh

Thanks Yogesh for your quick response, is there is any way to stay with R18-SP3 and work with an old version of solid edge ??
I just need to draw a model and save it as SAT file to open it with R18!
Updating all the codes now, will cause me too much hassle!
Shaib
