Hi
Is thread safe ACIS included in the "normal" ACIS libraries of R20 - or does it come as a separate build, extension, or other? In the R20 notes, one can find the following: "... All R20 versions of the buy replica watches ACIS product targeting Windows platforms are now thread-safe in the context defined by thread-safe ACIS (TS-ACIS) functionality....". I am not sure how to interpret "... in the context defined by thread-safe ACIS functionality." hence the question. Also, in the Developer's Desktop Winter 2008, Jeff Happoldt wrote: "... This new product, recently announced and demonstrated at the Insiders Summit, is an extension of ACIS...". I don't think I've found any recent documentation referring to TS ACIS as an extension. Could you please clarify this?
Does TS-ACIS come at an additional cost?
When upgrading from R19 to R20, and assuming the application does not make use of the new thread-safe ACIS functionality, are there any application code changes required for the upgrade, because of TS-ACIS? (Obviously this question is relevant if TS ACIS is indeed included in the R20 libs as standard.)
Many thanks

Hello,
Spatial did introduce Thread-Safe ACIS as an extra-price product in 2008, but by R20 we have included that capability in the standard 3D ACIS Modeler product.
If you are not invoking multi-threading, then you need make no code changes relative to thread-safe when upgrading your ACIS version. The capabilities will be invisible unless you explicitly engage them.
Best regards,
Ray Bagley
