Hi,
we are using VS 2010 with ACIS R21 SP2.
Since the service pack 1 for VS 2010 is out, my question is: is it safe to upgrade our VS 2010 installations to SP1? Are there any incompatibilities with the binaries provided in ACIS R21SP2?
Emilio

Hello Emilio,
Spatial products are built with VS 2010 SP0. As the product is not built and tested with VS 2010 SP1 it is currently an unsupported complier. At this time we do not have plans for upgrading or testing VS 2010 SP1. I hope this helps you decide how to proceed.
Regards,
Yogesh
PS- Please note we now have ACIS R21SP3 posted on our download site.

Thanks a lot for your fast reply. I guess we will wait with VS 2010 SP1.

Hi
I see the new ACIS SP3 is out. Is there any update on this question regarding Visual Studio 2010 SP1?
Is it safe to upgrade our VS 2010 installations to SP1? Are there any incompatibilities with the binaries provided in ACIS R21SP2 / R21SP3?
Thanks
Bryn
