With ACIS R22, Spatial introduced api_wrap_wire. Looks great for potentially embossing text on non planar parts. (An imprint option might be nice)
Has there been any thought about introducing an api_wrap_body? Something that would wrap a 3d body onto another 3d body similar to the attached image.

Hi Tim,
I don't think we have looked at this. The wire wrap is mathematicaly "clean" with arc-length preservation on developable surfaces. A body wrap like you propose involves stretching and/or compression of the tool body, so it seems to me the inputs and controls would be more involved. Do you have a suggestion of how you would see it working?
