We have an application which uses an activeX control developed using HOOPS (v13) to load a 3D assembly (STEP files read in using InterOp and converted to HOOPS using HA_Bridge). The ActiveX control is used in a Web application to allow the user (clients using IE) to view assemblies. Although the client machine has enough physical memory and HOOPS itself does not show excessive memory usage, we get an "Out of memory" error reported by Internet Explorer. Has anyone used IE + HOOPS ActiveX to load and view large models ?
